What is We Lille Rock You?
We Lille Rock You is simply the one and only Queen fan convention in France! After a first edition in 2022 and a second edition in 2026, We Lille Rock You quickly rose to the podium of the world’s biggest Queen-themed events, just behind the official convention in England and the Freddie Days in Montreux.
The aim of We Lille Rock You is to bring together fans from around the world to celebrate Queen’s music and the memory of Freddie Mercury. The program is designed to delight both your eyes and ears, with concerts, panel discussions and interviews with prestigious guests, an exhibition of rare records and promotional items, live karaoke, a record fair, authors, exhibitors, entertainment, a dance party, and more.

Where does We Lille Rock You take place?
The We Lille Rock You convention takes place at the Jost, right in the heart of Wazemmes. The Jost, not only offers a beautiful venue, but also has a hotel, and participants in We Lille Rock You get a 10% discount. More details are given in the section « Where do I sleep? ».
Who are We Lille Rock You?
As you might expect, behind this wonderful project are some true Queen fans! We are a small team of enthusiasts, whom you may have already encountered in other contexts: in the tribute band Rock You, in the rock band Fat Bottomed Boys, and also within the Queen Belgium France FanClub team. Faces that may be familiar to you.
We Lille Rock You is... For a good cause!
In addition to providing a great time for fans, We Lille Rock You aims to raise money for the Mercury Phoenix Trust .

The Mercury Phoenix Trust is a foundation created in 1992 by Brian May, Roger Taylor and Jim Beach in memory of Freddie Mercury, who died of AIDS in 1991. It fights HIV/AIDS worldwide by funding local prevention and awareness projects. Over 93% of donations go directly to actions on the ground. This organisation continues Freddie Mercury's legacy by taking action to change lives.
In 2022 and 2026, we donated all the proceeds from the events to the Mercury Phoenix Trust: two cheques of €2,000 each.
