What is We Lille Rock You?
We Lille Rock You is the one and only Queen fan convention in France! After its first edition in 2022 and its second in 2026, We Lille Rock You quickly became one of the world’s biggest events dedicated to Queen, ranking just behind the official convention in England and the Freddie Days in Montreux.
We Lille Rock You aims to bring fans from around the world together to celebrate Queen’s music and the memory of Freddie Mercury! There’s plenty to delight your eyes and ears: concerts, panel discussions and interviews with special guests, an exhibition of rare records and promotional items, live karaoke, a record fair, authors, exhibitors, activities and a dance party…

Where does We Lille Rock You take place?
We Lille Rock You takes place at the Jostin the heart of Wazemmes. The Jost not only has a magnificent event space, but also a hotel where We Lille Rock You attendees can enjoy a 10% discount. Find out more in the “ Where do I sleep? " section.
Who are We Lille Rock You?
As you might expect, this project is brought to life by true Queen fans! We’re a small team of passionate fans, and you may already have come across us elsewhere: in the tribute band Rock You, the rock band Fat Bottomed Boys, or the Queen Belgium France FanClub team. In short, we’re probably familiar faces!
We Lille Rock You is... For a good cause!
As well as bringing fans together for a great time, We Lille Rock You aims to raise money for the Mercury Phoenix Trust .
The Mercury Phoenix Trust was founded in 1992 by Brian May, Roger Taylor and Jim Beach in memory of Freddie Mercury, who died of AIDS-related causes in 1991. It fights HIV/AIDS around the world by funding local education and awareness projects. More than 93% of donations go directly towards this work. The Trust carries on Freddie Mercury’s legacy by helping to change lives.
In 2022 and 2026, we donated all the proceeds from our events to the Mercury Phoenix Trust, presenting it with two cheques for €2,000 each.
We Lille Rock You, a French event… and an international one!
We Lille Rock You is the one and only Queen fan convention in France… but that doesn’t stop us from welcoming fans from all over the world! Previous editions have brought together attendees from France, Belgium, England, Scotland, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Iceland, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, the United States and even Australia!
For the 2027 edition, the list of countries represented is already growing:

Crazy Performance : Fat Bottomed Boys concert
Plongez dans l’univers audacieux des Fat Bottomed Boys, le plus British des groupes de rock Français, formé en 2020. Leur mission ? Perpétuer l’héritage légendaire de Queen en y insufflant une nouvelle vie, à travers des compositions originales à l’ADN royal.
WHERE DO I SLEEP?
We Lille Rock You takes place at the Jost , which is a hotel. You can enjoy a 10% discount on your hotel room with the promotional code you will receive along with your We Lille Rock You ticket. The rooms are comfortable and affordable.
Whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple, with family or with a group of friends, Jost has an affordable option to suit you.
Staying on site has plenty of advantages: you won’t miss a moment of our magical programme, and you can party into the early hours without worrying about missing the last metro or being stopped for a breathalyser test!
Don’t wait too long to book, though… Jost has “only” 102 rooms, so it’s first come, first served!
HOW DO I GET HERE?
Getting to We Lille Rock You couldn’t be easier: Lille is at the crossroads of Europe and is easy to reach by car, train or plane.
By car:
Waze or Google Maps will easily find it. It takes about 2 hours from Paris, 1.5 hours from Brussels, 3 hours from Amsterdam, and about 4 hours from London.
By train:
Whether you’re travelling from Paris, London, Brussels or Amsterdam, or from Cambrai, Maubeuge or Noyelles-sous-Lens, your train will arrive at Lille-Flandres or Lille-Europe station.
By plane:
Your flight may land at Lille Lesquin Airport. You will then have regular shuttle buses to reach Lille city centre.
Otherwise, Charleroi, Beauvais, Paris Charles de Gaulle and Brussels Zaventem airports are easily accessible and also offer shuttle services to Lille (such as, FlixBus or FibCo ).
Getting to the Jost
The Jost, 10 rue Meurein 59000 Lille
, is in the heart of the Wazemmes district, 350 metres (5 minutes by foot) from the underground station
Gambetta.
If you’re travelling by car, please note that on-street parking is paid during the day, but free from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. and at weekends.
There are park-and-ride facilities on the outskirts of Lille where you can leave your car for free and complete your journey by metro:
